Nobar charitable Society

In The Name of God

"In the name of God who everything owes its existence to Him"

"Tabriz Nobar Charity Society" was established in Tabriz, in 1947, with the aim of performing charitable affairs and registered under No. 7 in 1952 as a legal entity. Now, after 60 years, "Tabriz Nobar Charity Society" is one of the most reputable and major charity foundations of Iran the broad and diverse services of which cover a large number of poor, but at the same time, honorable persons.

Some of the services of this society are: Guardianship of orphans; medical treatment of poor patients; supply of dowry; establishment of centers for medical treatment, education, residency and welfare purposes; providing occupations; loan facilities; helping people suffered from disasters (earthquake, flood, fire and so on); establishing library; establishing several highly-equipped public toilettes; supplying drinking and agricultural water for some of rural areas; and other valuable services in East Azerbaijan Province and other regions of Iran (as required).

The charitable who are members of this society not only take actions to supply financial and supporting requirements of the depended persons, but also, pay attention to their psychological and emotional needs. They spend most of their time to visit the said families and their cultural and health affairs and provide welfare for the patients (especially those who have mental diseases) and also solve their financial problems. (There is also a "Special Services Group" unit, which was established to solve some of the problems of the affiliated families including 1636 families of mental patients. This group also tries to solve their family conflicts.)

Although statistics and figures of the activities carried out during this long period, especially pleasant and unpleasant mementos, do not fit in this brief explanation, we hope that what we have collected here will encourage our fellows in Iran and abroad, who possess physical health and financial welfare, to invest in this fund which is in fact, a divine reservoir.
